Congratulations! You’re making a mark in your sphere of influence, making boss moves, uplifting others and setting the world on fire.
We are thrilled to consider you and other outstanding Louisiana natives like you for inclusion in our calendar, The Shades of Success 2024. The women selected will receive a photo spread which will appear alongside their biography in our professional, full-color calendar highlighting each honoree’s achievements. In addition, the honorees will be recognized at our 2024 The Shades of Success Awards Banquet.
The calendar is a yearly publication of V Squared Visuals, and part of our mission includes supporting women. As Louisiana natives, we are proud to launch this project which also serves as a wonderful tool for Black History Month, Women’s History Month, trade and business expos, educators, as well as journalists seeking experts to interview. Our staff members have a combined 150 years of experience in journalism, public relations and marketing. So, we know how important it is for our communities, especially children of color, to have role models who they can reach out and touch.
Calendar Applications Open Aug. 4 – Sept. 4, 2023
Please fill out the form below. You must also submit a photo and biography via email to theshadesofsuccess@gmail.com. A bio is required, and it must be 300 words or less. You may also submit a resume, if you wish.

Pictures will be taken by a professional photographer. A staff makeup artist will help you create the desired look for your photo shoot, which will include at least two photos – a professional photo of you in your work attire and either a family or hobby-inspired photo.
Please note that all models are free to do their own makeup if preferred. In addition, honorees will be responsible for their own hair and wardrobe selections. Participants must also sign a waiver allowing us to use their images in the publication, on social media and for advertising purposes.
